She has a point, I don’t agree with people trolling fans just to troll them.
I think that among the Twilight fandom and the ‘anti-Twilight fandom’, for want of a name, there are both the rational, relatively sane ones, and the ones who find it necessary to tell everyone their opinion and ‘shove it down their throat’ as she keeps saying.
But the sane ones keep bumping into the insane ones from the other side, which leaves a bad taste in their mouth.
The Twilight sucks site was not made to shove our opinions down other people’s throats.
To be truthful, when it was initially made it was a bit of a joke, and then it became a place where people who disliked the series could talk about our dislike, rip the books apart (because let’s face it, it is enjoyable ripping bad books apart (figuratively, not literally, though some of you might enjoy literally pulling bad books apart)), without someone coming in and going “OMG HOW COULD U THAT’S MY FAVE BOOK! TEAM EDWARD 4EVA!”
Of course some of them did come, and if they got a lot of people telling their opinion back, well what did they expect?
And then we broadened out to other areas of discussion, until we got to the point where the majority of our site is not even about twilight.
As for this blog, well it’s a blog. If you like making fun of Twilight, follow it. If you like Twilight, don’t follow us.
I do not go out of my way to find Twilight fans. If I meet ones in real life I let them know I don’t like it. Usually we drop the discussion at this point. If they ask me why I don’t like it I tell them.
RANDOM THOUGHT: LET ME DISLIKE TWILIGHT
